Honestly.Īfter doing some more in-depth research, right now my guess is that your Parallel on your MacBook Pro 16 is not linking your machine's camera with windows properly. I am very sorry that my suggestion did not work. It is as if Windows 10 does not have the correct driver for the Camera and Microphone. Meticulously checked all permissions - reset - and rechecked - no joy Removed the Camera App & Reinstalled - no joy. Removed and re-insralled the devices from device manager and updated drivers - no joy. I have removed Teams - cleared caches - reinstalled - removed again - no joy. The camera screen appears - the green light goes on - but the green remains black - even in the Camera App. I then started checking other apps on Windows and found that the entire range of Apps on Windows 10 OS that uses the camera has the same problem. I thought this to be a Teams issue and removed teams on Windows and installed on Mac OSX - 100% working. I migrated to the new laptop and found that the built in camera and microphones does not work with teams on Windows. I have to note as a start that everything worked 100% 3 days ago on my previous MacBook 15" x 2015/16.
